A long time awaited Wordpress Theme now ready to go…

I have received a lot of requests to have this current theme for download. There are a lot other themes out but I love my theme… and I know a lot of you love it too.

If you take a look at the zip files, I hope you will understand where to place the files and folders.

• gravatars in the wp-content folder
• plugins contents in the plugins folder ( activate all the plugins included in this package ).
• themes content ( df_new) in the themes folder.

Customizing the Theme before use:

• Step 1 - Activate the theme

  Activate the theme from the presentation tab

• Step 2 - Activate the Plugins

  Activate all the plugins from the Plugins tab as in the above image

• Step 3 - Creating the Sideblog Category

  Under the Manage tab - Categories, Create a new category by name “Sideblog” with “sideblog” as the category slug.

• Step 4 - Sociable Plugin

  Choose the icons to be displayed under every post and un-check all the check-boxes below as circled in the image. This is because the PHP snippet is hardcoded in the theme…

• Step 5 - The Gravatars

  As in the image, change Default size to 62, Disable “Cache gravatars” and Default gravatar image to “/wp-content/themes/df_new/images/commentbigbuddy.gif“

• Step 6 - The Sideblog

  Here is where you will be using the category you created previously. Simple… activate the sideblog category, set number of enries to be displayed in the sidebar and add this to the corresponding Display Format :

  

• Step 7 - Authimage ( captcha )

  Change the captcha settings as in the image. Nothing but changing the colors to blue and background to white.

• Step 8 - About Me

  To change the about me, you will have to edit header.php in the theme. you will find this content at almost at the end of the page…

• Sideblog version updated from v3.5 to v3.7 ( v3.5 had problem with duplication of articles on homepage ).
