dfGallery 1.0b (Updated)
The dfGallery which was launched a week ago reached up to 1650 downloads which marked a very good success. And now moving forward to the BETA, here are the updates :
- Flickr API album Integration which fetches all the albums.
- Picasa RSS patch, now retrieves all the albums.
- Photobucket Integration.
- Loading images from cache.
- Viewing the gallery in fullscreen and the extra fullscreen button option.
- hyperlink for each image.
- pause the slideshow at start.
- Background MP3 music that loops, along with volume control.
- Multiple language support.
- …and all other bugs fixed that were reported like images weren’t loading etc…
If you have any other image hosting service which you think could be added into our Gallery or if you have a new feature request/bug please don’t mind commenting…

I had a problem with loading also. I found that I had to make the albums public before it would work properly. Now it works like a charm.

Good Day! We are using DF Gallery on our website and we found out two problems and luckily resolved it. We use PHP by the way.
First problem: Image uploaded will not show on DF Gallery, number of images are counted correctly but no image is shown.
Our solution: Upload images with imageinterlace() function with it, progressive images, for some reasons sometimes wont show up on flash.
Second Problem: When we want to integrate DF Gallery in our website and gave it a custom size, the 8th thumbnail goes to dezinerfolio.com when clicked. No problems encountered when running on full screen.
Our solution: We change the custom size given from pixels to percent in our page.
The above suggested solutions worked for us, it may also worked for you or not. Kudos to the makers of this great tool.

I’m also having a problem with the loading. I hate to complain, but I would love to get this up and running on a site. Thanks for your help.

I think these features are very useful:
1. Option to default load albums list
2. Option to show a long version description of album before load the 1st image
3. Load next image when click
With these, dfGallery can be a images explorer.
Thanks for your greate work.

Hi, I’ve got the same problem with hanging in loading. If I click the thumbnail icon it comes up with ‘Sinan’s Photos’. Any idea what’s happening.
By the way it’s a great bit of web design, thanks!
Cheers
Phil

Hello, I’ve got the same problem as many others: the gallery hungs on LOADING.
I read that you asked for XML file to check for errors. How do I send it to you?
Thanks a lot
