Creating real life looking images in Photoshop is one side which we haven’t touched on. And here it goes now… These kind of images are simple to do but you need to give a thought around the lighting, shadows, colors… Below is the PSD for download.

More than we explain how we do it, we would rather prefer you take a real look on the source file (below download) so that you understand them better.

Play around with the gradient on the elliptical base of each ball to get amazing results. You can find cool gradients of ours here .

They look great, and certainly better than I've been able to accomplish on my own, but still a little flat. What should I play with to make them seem more 3d/realistic?
