Dezinerfolio now on Media Temple
Dezinerfolio was hosted on Bluehost all these time and we would like to say that we were very happy with Bluehost with its service but the only reason we now have shifted to Media Temple (mt) is because Bluehost servers couldn’t keep up processing the number of requests we get per second.

We spent almost a week to decide the right hosting company, and now its Media Temple for us. Here is a little info about our new server:
- GPU based processing - this allows to have spiked up processing if you suddenly get 1000’s of requests.
- 100 GB storage with 1TB bandwidth per month.
- PHP5, MySql 4.1, PostgreSQL 7.4, Pearl, Python, and ruby on rails support.
- Finally a really neat Account Center to manage your domains, databases, emails etc…
We hope Media Temple works good for us and we will continue to provide quality content over here…. Enjoy

I made the jump myself. Actually I decided to try out their service with a new project/site of mine, and instantly fell in love. The price you pay is very low compared to the quality you get in return. I am gradually moving sites over to them as the hosting deals I have already run out.
Good choice!

This is very good news. I kept visiting and seeing the CPU message. Good move. MT is a great company.

I have sign up too for a Virtual dedicated and have given your domain as referer because this post has been the way to my order. MT looks to have great quality, so i´m going to try it because i prefer to pay a little more and get quality. I hope to stay there for ever, i don´t want to move my sites again, so see you on MT! :em02:

I was also lookig for a new host and I found MT. However, before I sign-up, I searched about them and unfortunately there are a lot of complaints.
I have read at WebHostingTalk forum about bad experiences with MT. Also, the post at TechCrunch makes me stay away from them.

I’ve been with them for a half year, or so. They are extremely efficient and I really love their control panel.
My only gripe, which really is very tiny compared to other hosts I’ve had is that the database login is a little weird as it is hard to connect with a third party database manager, etc.
But I still rate them 9 out of 10.

Powerful features, great prices, get a (dv) account and you can host tons of sites/domains. Perfect for advanced users; developers and designers. Just don’t be in a rush if you need tech support, takes them 1-2 days for a reply via email (phone support may be faster).
