How to Design with Shadows and Lights
We agree that the design trend towards Web 2.0 has moved to the extremes. Yet we decided to go with another small tutorial on Web Design with Shadows and Lights. This style of design is more rich and gives the user more of a 3 Dimensional feel. The final output could look as if the element was paced on a stage with a spot light over it.
We agree the designs are intense but if designed and sliced in the proper structure, can make a very fast loading and an excellent output. We have been working on such designs and implementations from a long time and they have been very successful.
The videos below show you the actual process in designing such elements.

Cool, very cool. And also it makes everything easier for me, cause I’ve got a mac too, I hate reading tutorials where everything is explained for PC …

great tutorial of some design elements I’ve needed! I’m having a really hard time following along because of the speed at which things are happening, would be nice if you could briefly pause at each step so I can see tool/layer options/settings. or perhaps a writeup to go along with the video for slo mo review
Thanks for these!
