Wooo! Finally we are on dfGallery 2.0. We now commit to you that this gallery will be one of the coolest Free Flash Galleries. v1 with 200,000+ downloads was the hottest topic on our site and we hope to see a lot with this too. This is just the alpha release and we expect lots of feedback to get this to its best possible..

The reason for this gallery to be cool is not just its UI but the way it is built and architected. We have an amazing theme engine built to support custom themes with multiple skins for each. The administration console built on CodeIginter lets you manage multiple galleries and albums of different types.

Soon we will have a dedicated section on the site where the community can contribute themes and skins. Till then enjoy this beautiful work by us :)

Installation & Customization

Please read the install.txt & upgrade.txt that is included in the package.
Requirements: Apache rewrite module with PHP 5+, php_json and php_curl extensions.
Images used in this demo are randomly picked from various sources. Thx to all artists.

Me also i´m getting the following error-message:

Invalid cURL response.
We expected 'true' from the url : http://localhost/dfgallery2/api/rest/test_curl

I´m using XAMPP, curl is enabled. It would be nice if someone could help to find a solution.

When installing this, is the video the only supplied help. I tried to set this up using the video, but I am having a difficult time. I am using MAMP. What folder do I set to apache? What happens to the database when I create it; where does it go? Does the database go into the folder where I put the dfg folder? and how do I access that from firefox? Do I keep web sharing on in preferences and use MAMP's Apache simultaniously? I'm stuck... I can find my dfg folder using apache, but it opens to reveal contents, not like in the video where it opens to the setup...

and curl is loaded.

Where i can get download php_json.dll to php 5.2??? I have php_json.dll but this it not work,

Unable to connect to the database with the given credentials, or the installed mysql Connector does not support authentication protocol.

ok nice package, but this gallery lacks major support helps files and installation support, the install.txt provide no info on what to do after its been uploaded to your site, what are the embed codes to place on my site, nice efforts tho.. but needs better support for newbie users.
