Hi everyone !
I have this issue:
Invalid cURL response.
We expected 'true' from the url : http://photostudio-sotos.com/api/rest/test_curl

My server admin (hostgator) says:
Hello,
Your server is currently running with PHP 5.2.6. Both the json and curl modules are compiled in to PHP and mod_rewrite is also compiled in to Apache.

The url http://photostudio-sotos.com/api/rest/test_curl gives a Page not found error
In the package i downloaded there was no /api/rest/test_curl

any ideas?

I like this gallery and i really want to use it !

Just find "we expect...." in install.php and change like this: if(true){
$checks[] = array('Clean urls\' have been enabled.',true,'');
}else{
$checks[] = array('Invalid cURL response.',false,"We expected 'true' from the url : $curl_url");
}

i have the same problem:

Files that need to exist
/.htaccess exists. /app/config/dfg/upgrade_state.php exists.

Check for writable files and directories
/resources/cache/ is writable. /resources/images/original/ is writable. /resources/images/large/ is writable. /resources/images/thumbnail/ is writable. /app/config/dfg/upgrade_state.php is writable.

Invalid cURL response.
We expected 'true' from the url : http://www.scenephotos.de/api/rest/test_curl

Database Config is writable.

Same here. It seems clear to me that as beautiful as this gallery is, it's not ready for production distribution.
