Album list View at start

Hi is there a way to see first the albums list view?

I would love to install dfGallery v2 but i don't have access to my ini.php file to activate cURL.

I love this gallery, but i need to show first that view.

I too struggled with getting v.2 to install correctly on my server, so I decided to go back to v.1. It's simple and does every thing I need. It looks fantastic.

Yet it would be more intuitive if I could choose to have it start on the album page rather than on the first album. Any chance of this happening? Or is there a way to do it that I haven't figured out yet?
